GTK+ frontend:

The GTK+ Frontend uses the GTK+ toolkit for its interface and will integrate nicely in desktop environments using GTK+ such as GNOME or XFCE. This is the default frontend.

QT frontend:

The QT frontend is built on top of Trolltechs QT toolkit used in KDE. Its interface is tuned to match the style of the KDE Desktop Environment. This frontend is available as a separate package.

Commandline frontend:

The command line frontend is used in situations when there are no graphical environment running, or if no other frontend is installed.
